Our Story
Back in the summer of 2014, four guys and three girls met in a Power Wow class, at a little place on Melrose, known as The Groundlings. Adding two more girls and another guy, we were at an even number of members, we all agreed, the name of our new troupe “Ladies & Gentlemen” was a perfect fit!
We were so fortunate to have met Groundling’s Sunday Company alum Mike Rose, who has pushed and challenged us along the way.
By invitation only, we’ve performed twice at the People’s Improv Theatre in NYC as part of their Improv Fest. Ladies & Gentlemen has also held a four week spot at the Neon Venus, consecutively won ‘Rude Mondays' at the The Complex Theatre for four weeks in a row.
We are a Los Angeles based Improv troupe who perform long form clap-in style followed by a montage of different scenes from audience suggestions. We have performed all over the LA area incuding: The Groundlings Student Stage, Neon Venus, The Club House, The Complex, Oh My Ribs Theatre, Open Space, The PIT in NYC, and some random peoples back yards.
